For Shopify and WooCommerce brands
Your ad platforms are optimizing on bad data.
For Shopify and WooCommerce brands spending on Meta and Google. We find out why Meta, GA4 and your store report different sales, fix the cause, and then grow spend on numbers you can trust.
Sample diagram of one test order. Before the fix, the store sends it to GA4, Google Ads and Meta along broken paths: GA4 loses it, Google Ads counts it twice and Meta gets no value. After the fix, the store sends it through one server-side step with an event ID, and each platform receives one purchase of $148.00.
Sound familiar
The numbers never line up
Store owners describe the same handful of problems. Each one usually traces back to how purchases reach the ad platforms.
Shopify, Meta and GA4 each show a different number of sales for the same week, and nobody can say which is right.
Meta reports a great return on ad spend. The bank balance does not agree.
Conversions dropped the week the cookie banner went live, and we cannot tell how many sales were real.
The pixel was set up by an app, then a freelancer, then an agency. We are not sure which one is firing.
Google Ads started counting more purchases than the store took after someone imported GA4 conversions.
We want to raise the budget, but not on numbers we do not trust.
Meta and Google bid on the purchases you report to them. When a sale is counted twice, sent without its value or lost at the consent banner, the platforms learn from the wrong buyers and spend accordingly.
What we do for you
Measurement first, then growth
Most stores start with the audit. What comes after depends on what it finds.
Find where the numbers split
We place real test orders, follow each one from your checkout to GA4, Google Ads and Meta, and write down every place the data goes wrong.
Tracking AuditSend each sale once, with its value
Server-side tagging, Meta Conversions API and Google enhanced conversions, deduplicated with event IDs so the browser and server copies count as one purchase.
Tracking ImplementationConsent that holds up
Consent Mode v2 with a banner that respects the visitor’s choice. Set up with PIPEDA and Quebec Law 25 in mind, and gaps flagged for your legal adviser.
Tracking ImplementationGrow on clean data
Google Ads and Meta campaigns managed against store revenue. Budgets move toward what sells at a margin, not what the platform claims.
Paid Media ManagementStore changes that keep tracking intact
Theme edits, app clean-up and speed work tested on a duplicate theme or staging site, with tracking checked after every change.
Shopify & WooCommerce DevelopmentTraffic you do not pay for per click
Collection and product page structure, structured data and technical fixes, reported against revenue from organic search.

Questions
Common questions
Why do Shopify, GA4 and Meta never agree?
Some gap is normal. Each platform uses its own attribution window, and ad blockers and consent refusals hide some visits. The problem is a gap you cannot explain, or one that changed overnight. The audit separates the expected part from the broken part.
Do we need server-side tagging?
Not always. It pays off when a large share of purchases is lost to browser blocking, or when Meta struggles to match buyers to ad clicks. The audit tells you whether it is worth the cost for your store before you spend anything on it.
Does this work with the current Shopify checkout?
Yes. On Shopify we work with customer events and the checkout as it runs today, including thank-you and upsell pages. On WooCommerce we work with the order hooks your theme and plugins use.
We sell into Quebec. Does consent change anything?
Quebec Law 25 sets stricter consent rules than most of Canada. We set up the banner and Consent Mode so tags wait for the visitor’s choice, and we flag anything your legal adviser should review. We do not give legal advice.
Can you run our ads as well?
Yes, on the Growth Retainer. We start with the tracking, because managing spend on numbers we have not checked would mean guessing with your budget.
What access do you need?
For the audit, read access to Google Tag Manager, GA4, Google Ads and Meta Events Manager, plus a staff or collaborator account on the store. We never need payment details or ownership of any account.
