Privacy policy
What we collect when you use this site or contact us, why, where it is stored and how to reach us about it.
Who we are
InnovaNext Digital is a sole proprietorship registered in Ontario, Canada. We provide tracking, analytics and paid media services to businesses. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean InnovaNext Digital.
We are responsible for the personal information we collect. Our privacy officer handles questions, requests and complaints about it.
Privacy officer: Privacy Officer, InnovaNext Digital, hello@innovanextdigital.com
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.
What we collect
When you fill in a form
The site has three forms. We collect only what you type in, plus a little context about the submission.
- Contact: your name and email (required), and optionally your company, store or website, what kind of business you are, your store platform, your monthly ad spend range, your ad channels, your main problem, the service you are interested in and your message.
- Free tracking check: your website address and email.
- Careers: your name and email, and optionally the role you are applying for, a portfolio or LinkedIn link and your message.
- Consent records: whether you agreed to be contacted about your enquiry and whether you opted in to marketing emails, each with the date and time we received it. The marketing box is never pre-ticked; if you leave it empty we record “no”.
- Submission context: the page you sent the form from, the referring page, and any campaign parameters in the link that brought you here (for example
utm_sourceorutm_campaign).
Your IP address is used briefly to limit repeated submissions and to check that you are not a bot. We do not store it with your submission.
If your browser cannot run our form script, the form opens your own email app instead and your message reaches us as an ordinary email.
When you browse
Without your consent, we do not use analytics or advertising tags. Our hosting provider processes technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
If you allow analytics or marketing in the cookie banner, the tags described in thecookie policy may collect pages viewed, clicks on buttons, form submissions (as an event, not the content you typed), device and browser details, approximate location and online identifiers.
When you become a client
During a project we may see personal information held in your systems, such as customer orders in your store or ad accounts. We access it only to do the work you asked for, under our terms and any data processing agreement we sign with you.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and run the work you hire us for.
- To review job applications.
- To send occasional emails about tracking and growth, only if you opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To keep the forms free of spam and abuse.
- With your consent only: to understand which pages are useful (analytics) and to measure our own advertising (marketing).
- To keep records the law requires, such as invoices and consent records.
We do not use your information for any other purpose without telling you and, where required, asking first.
Consent
We rely on your consent. Sending the Contact form requires you to agree to be contacted about your enquiry. Marketing emails need a separate opt-in. Analytics and marketing tags need your choice in the cookie banner, where “Reject all” is as easy as “Accept all”.
You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@innovanextdigital.com, by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or through Cookie settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect what was done before, but it may mean we cannot reply to an enquiry.
Service providers
We use a small number of outside services to run the site and handle enquiries. They process information on our behalf and under their own security and privacy terms.
| Provider | What it does | When |
|---|---|---|
| Airtable | Stores form submissions so we can respond to enquiries and applications. Servers in the United States. | Every form submission |
| Cloudflare | Hosts the site, runs the function that receives form submissions, and provides Turnstile spam protection. | Every visit; Turnstile on pages with a form |
| Booking tool | Lets you pick a time for a call. The tool’s own privacy policy applies to what you enter there. | Only when a booking link is shown |
| Google (Tag Manager, Analytics, Ads) | Site statistics and measuring our own ads. | Only after you allow analytics (Analytics) or marketing (Ads) |
| Microsoft Clarity | Shows how visitors use pages (clicks, scrolling, heatmaps and session replays) so we can fix confusing layouts. Text you type into forms is masked and never recorded. Servers in the United States. | Only after you allow analytics |
| Meta | Measuring our own ads. | Not in use yet; if added, only after you allow marketing |
| Our email provider | Holds the email conversations we have with you. | When you email us or we reply |
Data outside Canada
Some of these providers store or process information outside Canada, mainly in the United States. Airtable stores form submissions on servers in the United States, and Microsoft Clarity stores usage data there when you allow analytics. Information held in another country is subject to that country’s laws and may be accessed by its courts, law enforcement or national security authorities.
Before sending information outside Quebec or Canada, we assess whether it will be adequately protected, and we choose providers with contractual and security commitments. For a copy of what we rely on, contact our privacy officer.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client.
- Client records: as long as the law requires for business and tax records.
- Job applications: 12 months after we receive them.
- Marketing consent: until you withdraw it, then we keep a record of the withdrawal.
- Cookie choice: in your browser until you change it or clear site data.
After that we delete the information or make it anonymous.
Security
Access to stored submissions is limited to the people who need it to respond. Access keys for our services are kept as encrypted secrets and never published in the site’s code. The site is served only over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, so if a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the regulators as the law requires.
Your rights
Under PIPEDA and, for Quebec residents, Law 25, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use it, and give you a copy;
- correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete information we no longer need or should not hold;
- stop using your information for marketing, or withdraw any other consent;
- give you the information you provided in a structured, commonly used technology format (portability).
Email hello@innovanextdigital.com with your request. We may need to confirm your identity first. We reply within 30 days and do not charge for reasonable requests. If we cannot do what you ask, we explain why.
Complaints
Please contact our privacy officer first at hello@innovanextdigital.com. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to theOffice of the Privacy Commissioner of Canadaor, if you live in Quebec, theCommission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
Browser storage
The site keeps three small items in your browser. None of them is sent to us on their own, and none is used for advertising.
| Name | Type | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
inn-consent | Local storage | Remembers your cookie choice and when you made it. |
inn-theme | Local storage | Remembers light or dark mode, if you pick one. |
inn-utm | Session storage | Keeps the campaign parameters from the link that brought you here, for this visit only. They are sent to us only if you submit a form. |
Analytics and advertising cookies are covered in the cookie policy.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our services or the law change, and before we add a new provider that receives your information. The date at the top shows the latest version.
