How we work

A clear process, from first call to checked numbers.

Every engagement follows the same steps, with a fixed timeline and a named deliverable at each one. You always know what happens next and what we need from you.

The process

Seven steps. The last two only if you want us to build the fixes.

  1. Day 0

    Intake

    A short call or form

  2. Day 1

    Access

    Read access to your tools

  3. 5–7 business days

    Audit

    Test orders and platform review

  4. End of the audit

    Walkthrough call

    Every finding explained

  5. With the report

    Fix plan

    Fixed quote, fee credited

  6. 2–3 weeks

    Implementation

    Build, test, publish

    Optional
  7. 14 days after launch

    Monitoring

    Live data checked

    Optional
Steps 1 to 5 are the audit. Steps 6 and 7 follow only if you choose our implementation.

Step by step

What happens, what you get, what we need

  1. Intake

    Day 0

You tell us about your store, the platforms you run and what looks wrong. We say whether an audit is the right first step.

    You get
A straight answer on fit, the price and a start date.
    We need
Your store URL, the ad platforms you use and roughly what you spend.
  2. Access

    Day 1

You add us to each platform with the lowest access level that lets us see the setup. Nothing is changed.

    You get
A checklist of exactly who to add where, with links.
    We need
Read access to GTM, GA4, Google Ads and Meta Events Manager, plus a staff account on Shopify or WooCommerce.
  3. Audit

    5–7 business days

We place test orders, follow each one into every platform, test consent behaviour and compare what each tool counted.

    You get
A written report with every finding ranked, its evidence and the fix.
    We need
Someone who can answer quick questions about apps, payment gateways and past changes.
  4. Walkthrough call

    End of the audit

We go through the report with you and your team, or your developer, until the next steps are clear.

    You get
Answers to your questions and a plain-language view of what matters most.
    We need
An hour with the people who will decide or do the fixes.
  5. Fix plan

    With the report

The findings become a task list with a fixed implementation quote. Your developer can use the plan instead if you prefer.

    You get
A fixed quote. The audit fee is credited against Implementation if you go ahead.
    We need
A yes, a no or questions. There is no pressure to go ahead with us.
  6. Implementation

    2–3 weeks

We build the fixes on a staging workspace, test with real orders with consent accepted and refused, then publish.

    You get
A working tracking stack, a QA log and handover documentation.
    We need
Publish access in GTM and a contact who approves changes before they go live.
  7. Monitoring

    14 days after launch

For 14 days after an implementation we watch live data for gaps, duplicates and consent issues, and fix what turns up.

    You get
A closing check of platform numbers against the store, in writing.
    We need
Nothing new. Keep our access in place until the check is done.

Communication

One thread, one document, no chasing.

You get an update at each step above. The person on your intake call is the person doing the work and answering your messages.

  • Email

The default for questions, access requests and anything you may want to find again later.

  • A shared document

One living document per project holds the plan, findings, decisions and status, so nobody has to dig through threads.

  • Your channel, if you prefer

Agencies often want updates where their team already works, such as a shared Slack channel. We agree the channel at intake.

Before we start

What we need from you

  • Read access to Google Tag Manager, GA4, Google Ads and Meta Events Manager
  • A staff or collaborator account on Shopify or WooCommerce
  • Permission to place test orders, which we refund
  • One person who can approve changes and answer questions
  • For implementation: publish access in GTM and any server container account
